There was a promise of good things to come and a feeling that he was free of the Jackson 5 and loving it. Thriller was really good too, but he was changing. Rock With You was feel-good, young and carefree. Great to dance to. It showed off his amazing voice in an irresistible, laid back way. And of course I have memories attached to the song, so I guess that adds a sentimental aspect to the choice.

But, I can’t choose. However, I go through Michael Jackson song phases, where I just keep listening to one song all the time and start falling in love with it LOL. Anyways, now, it’s Threatened from his Invincible Album. Don’t turn your heads just because it was his least successful album (it could have sold more than Dangerous if it received enough advertising, which didn’t happen because of problems with Sony) Threatened is an amazing horror song. It shows that Michael’s cool enough to write almost like a diss song to himself. Greatest singer, dancer, songwriter, and entertainer in the world!
